
(Beef in spicy red curry sauce)

Ingredients
- 500 g beef
- 11/2 chili powder table spoon
- 2 tablespoons coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
- 10 nos shallot
- 2 nos onion
- 1/2 cup coconut flakes
- 3 nos green chili
- 1 teaspoon ginger crushed
- 1 teaspoon garlic crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
- salt
- 1 sprig curry leaves

Instructions
- clean and cut beef in to small pieces, wash this under running water.keep aside in a strainer.
- clean and cut onion in to thin slices, chop shallot,slit green chili lengthwise.
- heat oil in a pressure cooker ,add curry leaves in to it. saute well, then add sliced onion,saute until onion become transparent.
- then add crushed ginger and garlic in to it .saute well until the raw smell goes .
- then add coconut slices and green chili saute well until coconut slices become slightly crispy.
- then add chili,coriander,and turmeric powder.saute in a very law flame for 2 minutes.
- then add washed beef ,pepper powder,garam masala and salt .mix well. then add 1/2 cup of water in to it.cover with the lid and cook well (approximately 3-4 whistles).then switch off the stove.
- heat oil in another pan add curry leaves ,saute well then add chopped shallot in to it.saute until shallot become brown .then add this to the cooked beef.mix well.
- serve with putu,appam or rice
