
(South Indian Style sauteed Taro)

- 500 g Taro
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder red
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 4 - 5 nos green chili
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- 1/2 cup coconut grated
- 1/2 sprig curry leaves
- mustard seeds
- coconut oil
- salt
- water

Instructions
- peel the skin of taro and clean well under running water.then cut it in to medium small pieces.
- cook cleaned taro in little water along with salt ,turmeric and chili powder.
- crush coconut,curry leaves and green chili together and keep aside.
- heat oil in a pan splutter mustard seeds then add red chili flakes in to it saute in a low flame until you get a pleasant aroma.
- then add cooked taro in to it mix well,then add crushed coconut and mix well.
- cover with a lid and cook in a low flame for 2-3 minutes.
- serve with rice.
