
(Bread slices dipped in to coriander leaf based batter and shallow fried)
This corriander chutney toast has rich flavor of coriander leaves.it is very easy to prepare.it is mild spicy and delicious.it is prepared by dipping the bread slices in a rich coriander flavored batter,then they are shallow fried.

the batter is made with egg,onion,green chili and coriander leaves.you can have it during breakfast or evening snack.it is good as an appetizer too.

This is a savory version of my previous post bread porichathu,I adapt this recipe from my dearest friend Najeeba Haris.

I used large size wholemeal bread.so the no of serving may vary depends on the size of bread.So here is the recipe…………..

- 5 - 6 Bread slices
- / gheeoil
- 2 nos egg
- 1/4 of a small bunch coriander leaf
- 1 nos onion
- 3 nos green chili
- salt

- clean coriander leaves.remove hard stem and stalks.chop it and keep aside.
- clean and chop onion.
- grind onion and coriander leaves in to a smooth batter with egg,green chili and salt.
- cut bread slices in to desired shapes.
- heat oil or ghee in a pan,once the oil is hot reduce the flame.
- dip each bread pieces in to the batter and place it to the hot pan.
- shallow fry until both side become mild crunchy.
- remove from pan and keep in a paper towel.
- serve as break fast or appetizer or evening tea snack.
