clean chicken and cut in to medium pieces.thinly slice onions,cut tomato in to medium pieces,cut each chilly in to 3 pieces.
heat sufficient oil in a pan. add thinly sliced onions,saute in a medium flame until golden brown.add ginger garlic paste,green chilly,curry leaves and coriander leaves.saute well till raw smell goes.add sliced tomato,turmeric powder,chilly powder coriander powder,garam masala and fennel powder,saute well till oil comes up.add salt
then add cleaned chicken pieces in to it,mix well.add 1/4 cup water,stire well then cover with a lid.
cook till the gravy is very thick.the chicken pieces should be cooked well and coated well with masala.
