Hi Looking for an easy lemonade recipe,here it is. A healthy and easy to make lemonade with a trophical twist.I always like homemade juices and drinks than store bought ones.Home made drinks are really fresh and refreshing.This Pineapple and turmeric lemonade is a perfect thirst quencher.
this healthy lemonade made with pineapple,turmeric and lime.Pineapple is an excellent source of Manganese,vitamin c,dietary fibers and other minerals.Pineapple helps for good digestion.Turmeric contain curcumin it has a powerful anti inflammatory effects and it is a very strong anti oxidant.Lime is a good source of vitamin c.
Pineapple is wonderful fruit it has a delicious flavor and taste but, it is very important to choose perfectly ripe ones.Before going to the recipe here is some small tips How to choose perfect Pineapple
- Always choose a fresh looking Pineapple with green leaves and firm shell
- Smell the bottom part of the fruit if you get a fruity sweet smell its ripe
- Don’t go for a fruit with fermented,sour or vinegar like smell.
- some says external color doe snot indicate ripeness,any how look for a fruit with yellow golden color.
So here is the recipe of refreshing Summer special Pineapple and Turmeric Lemonade,enjoy it..

|Cook Time||5 minutes|
- 1 Pineapple peeled,eyes removed and cut in to small cubes
- 2 lime squeezed and seed removed
- 2cup water chilled
- 2pinch turmeic powder
- sugar as needed
- In a blender add pineapple, chilled water, turmeric powder.lime juice and sugar.Blend well until smooth.
- Strain through a sieve if you do not prefer pulp,otherwise do not strain.serve with or without ice.
note:Turmeric has a pungent bitter flavor so use less at first time if you like the flavor try more.
