
Today i am here with a simple fish fry. King fish(ayakoora )is my all time favorite fish,this simple spicy fish fry goes well with rice or you can have this as an appetizer or starter.

Spicy fish fry is an important item in the south Indian non vegetarian meals.any south Indian non vegetarian meal is incomplete with out this delicacy.You can prepare fish fry in different ways by using different ingredients and spices as per your taste.

this pan fried fish is spicy and it has a flavor of garlic ginger and fennel.so here is the recipe of delicious king fish fry…………….

- 5 nos King fish steaks
- 1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
- 3/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon fennel powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 / 2 teaspoons garlic paste
- 1/2 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 nos lemon slices
- onions sliced few rings
- salt
- coconut oil

- clean the fish pieces with water and salt.drain water and keep aside
- in a bowl add all ingredients except oil,add 2 teaspoon water mix well and make a fine paste
- marinate fish with this paste andkeep aside for 30 minutes
- heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the fish pieces till both side become light brown.
- serve with onion rings and lemon.
Please adjust spices as per your taste preference.
