Mushrooms are cooked with spices then mixed with boiled and mashed potato,then shaped in to cutlets,then coated with breadcrumbs and deep fried.Perfect for a rainy evening.

clean wash and boil potatoes.remove skin and mash well.keep aside
clean and finely chop mushroom,chop green chili and chop onion.keep aside
heat oil in a pan,add finely chop onion and saute until onion become soft. then add ginger garlic paste and chopped green chili saute well till raw smell goes,add cumin paste and saute well.
now add turmeric powder and saute well,then add finely chopped mushroom.saute in a high heat till mushroom become dry and cooked.add salt.reduce heat.
now add boiled and mashed potato and garam masala,mix well and cook few minutes.check salt consistency and switch off the stove.let it cool
add egg in to a bowl and slightly beat it.keep aside.
now take the potato and mushroom mixture,mix it well with your hands.
now make small balls with it.place it in your palm and gently press it on top.make round thick cutlets.
dust it with flour,then dip in to the beaten egg
then coat the cutlets with breadcrumbs,repeat until all cutlet finished,keep each separately.
heat oil in a vessel and deep fry the cutlets to a golden color
serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
