Prawns and muringakka curry Recipe by Sujitha Nair
clean and de-vein prawns.wash well and keep aside.
clean drumsticks, peel the skin.cut in to long pieces.clean and cut tomato in to medium pieces,
in a curry pot heat oil ,add curry leaves.then add all powders ,saute well till raw smell goes or until you get a pleasant aroma.
then add tomatoes and prawns saute well then add drumsticks and sufficient amount of water.add salt.cook for 10 minutes
mean time grind coconut and shallot together,grind well and make a fine paste.
once prawns and drumsticks cooked well add coconut paste (add little water to the paste ) in to the to the curry.
mix well and let it boil.check salt consistency.
switch off the stove.
heat coconut oil in another pan,splutter mustard seeds and 1 pinch of fenugreek. then add curry leaves. saute well and add this to the gravy.
serve with rice.
