  1. clean quail.make small incisions in it with fork or knife.
  2. marinate cleaned quail with salt, lemon juice, turmeric powder, coriander powder. chilly powder. kashmeeri chilly and garam masala.
  3. keep it in the refrigerator for 3-4 hr or overnight.
  4. grind shallot garlic ginger together.
  5. heat oil in a pressure cooker .add the grinded paste. saute well till it is brown .
  6. add quail and 1/4 cup water stir well and cook for 5-10 minutes(2 whistle).
  7. let the cooker cool naturally.
  8. heat oil in a pan shallow fry the cooked quails.if there is excess gravy pour it in to the quails.
  9. make sure all sides of quail fried well.
