  1. In a thick bottom vessel or sauce pan add milk and 2 cup water.
  2. switch on the stove and boil milk,
  3. when the milk starts boiling add sugar and semolina.stir well to avoid lumps,reduce the flame.
  4. stir well until semolina cooks well.add more sugar if needed.then add thick coconut milk.stir well .add cardamom powder and one pinch salt.stir well and remove from fire just before boiling,
  5. heat ghee in a pan fry cashew nut and raisins add this to thari kanchi.
  6. serve hot.
Recipe Notes

If you are using low fat milk no need to add water use 5 cups of milk.

we are using semolina so the drink will thicken after some time so do not use more semolina for instant thickness.
