  1. Heat oil in pan add chilly and fry it well or burn the chili in hot charcoal.
  2. take away The chili from pan or from burning charcoal (kanalil chuttedukuka) transfer the chili in to a mixer or mortar.add shallots and salt.grind in to a coarse paste with out adding water.(if you are adding tamarind add tamarind too)
  3. Transfer the ground paste in to a bowl,Add sufficient amount of coconut oil in to it .mix well enjoy with cassava or rice porridge.

you can add tamarind or garlic if you like the taste.cocunut oil is not compulsory.
