mulakooshyam is a simple dal curry.very easy to prepare.goes well with rice.
- soak dal for 1 hour.
- clean and cut tomato in to 4 pieces.chop shallots.
- cook dal along with tomato ,salt, chilly powder and turmeric powder.
- heat oil in another pan .splutter mustard seeds .add curry leaves and chopped shallots.fry well. pour this in to the gravy.add chopped coriander leaves .
- serve hot with rice or chapati
